Tamil blockbuster, Vikram Vedha, is all set to enthrall the Hindi cine audience as a remake of the well-received film is in the works. Starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in main roles, the neo-noir crime thriller will be remade by noted filmmaker Neeraj Pandey . The director has joined hands with the original producer, S Sashikanth, and Reliance Entertainment for the project. Apart from being the creative producer, Neeraj will also write the script for the thriller. The film will be helmed by the original writer-director duo Pushkar and Gayatri.

After the success of two co-productions in Hindi, Saala Khadoos and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan with Rajkumar Hirani and Aanand L Rai respectively, Sashikanth is excited about joining hands with Neeraj Pandey and Reliance Entertainment for his third venture. “We have all grown up on the Vikram Betal mythology, but this out-of-the-box contemporary treatment makes it a must-see movie,” the producer says.
