Megastar Aamir Khan , who celebrated his 53rd birthday yesterday, hopes that the possible clash between his forthcoming mega-budgeted film Thugs Of Hindostan and the Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 is averted well in time. “I hope they (the makers of 2.0), don’t come with us otherwise it will be problematic for us. Rajinikanth is a big star and I respect him.”

Talking about box office clashes between two big films, Aamir had earlier said, “There’s no ego that I just have to release on a certain date. If I can step back, I will, because a clash affects both films equally. Ultimately, we are all friends in the industry. So if we can help each other, we do. When Secret Superstar released, we clashed with Rohit Shetty ’s Golmaal Again . When the first-day collections came, I realized they were doing much better than us. I called Rohit the same evening and offered him screens that I’m not using.”

Apart from Aamir Khan , Thugs Of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in lead roles. The film releases on 7th November 2018.
