China has become the world’s biggest movie market, and it has proved beneficial to Indian films as well. Due to Aamir Khan’s Dangal, many Indian movies got more exposure in the neighbouring country, which eventually helped grow the film’s overall business. And now, one more Hindi movie is ready to get released in China, and that is Salman Khan’s Sultan. Following the leads of Aamir, megastar Salman will now release his second film there, and it has been cleared by the Chinese censor boards as well. Though the number of screens and the release date are yet to be declared, it is confirmed that the action-drama will be soon screened in China.
Sultan PosterEarly this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan became Salman’s first film ever to release in China, and despite not being a popular face in that territory, his movie collected Rs. 294 crores. So it will be interesting to see Sultan’s performance there, and will it surpass the collections of BB?
The megastar is currently busy with the final schedule of Race 3, and his forthcoming film, Bharat, has also gone on floors.
