Gadar 2 is running successfully at the box office and is not planning to stop anytime soon. The film is about to cross the Rs 500- crore mark within a few days and the entire film crew cannot contain their excitement. The film is helmed by Anil Sharma and co-stars Ameesha Patel as the lead female role. The film which was released on August 11 is making Tsunami waves at the box office.

Amidst all the success, in a recent interview Sunny Deol reveals that he won’t be producing any more films and will be focusing solely on his acting career. The actor reveals that every time he produces a film; it fails miserably at the Box Office and lead the actor to the verge of bankruptcy.

He speaks, “Because I go bankrupt. The world has become very difficult. Years back, I could control things because distribution was normal. They were people we interacted with. There was a connection. Ever since the corporates have come in, there’s nothing.”

The Gadar 2 actor adds, “For an individual to stand tall over there, it’s difficult. You have to do your PR, run around, and they won’t give you your number of theatres. They don’t want individuals to be there. I had a tough time with my films in the past decade. You’re trying to do a certain kind of cinema, but you.”

The actor concludes saying, “That’s what I came in for. I became a producer, a director, wearing too many hats. A man can only do one job. So, I said, ‘Throw everything away, just become an actor.’ So that’s what I want to do now. Do as many films as I can as an actor.”
