About ‘Dahaad’

Sonakshi Sinha makes her digital debut in the Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi film Dahaad, in which she plays a tough female police officer working to investigate a grisly murder case while an unaware culprit is on the loose. Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her coworkers at a small-town police station are the subjects of the eight-part crime drama series. The case is given to Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati after a number of women are inexplicably found dead in public restrooms. The murders at first seem to be obvious suicides, but as the cases develop, Anjali starts to wonder if there is a serial killer on the loose. She pieces together the evidence before another innocent woman loses her life in the ensuing gripping game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop.
