Newcomer Palak Jain bags a Sony TV show

According to reports, newcomer Palak Jain has been roped in to play the female lead in writer-producer Dilip Jha’s untitled show for Sony Entertainment Television. Reportedly, the regular shooting for the same has already started in Delhi. Besides Palak, the show also features actors like Anurag Arora, Alka Amin, Vishal Malhotra and Ankit Raaj in important roles.

Palak was finalized for ALTBalaji’s web-series Judaai opposite Karan Singh Grover. But since the project was taking a lot of time to take off, she decided to take up this new show. A credible source reveals, “Palak who has mostly done print ads hails from Agra. She shifted to Mumbai a few years back, looking for opportunities as an actor.”

The show will be produced by Bindu Moving Images, that has previously produced Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. Palak will romance Twisted fame Namit Khanna in her new show.
