‘Jigarthanda Double X’ stars a slew of brilliant performers, and writer-director Karthik Subbaraj is going all-in on this gangster thriller, which is being billed as a spiritual successor to his 2014 blockbuster, ‘Jigarthanda’. This film was released in Tamil and Telugu just in time for the Deepavali celebration.

Raghava Lawrence plays mobster Pandiyan, and SJ Suryah plays aspiring film director Ray Dasan. Other major characters in the film include Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Naveen Chandra, Sathyan, Aravind Akash, Ilavarasu, and Bava Chelladurai.

Karthik Subbaraj wrote and directed the historical action drama. The film was produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, S Kathiresan, and Alankar Pandian under the brands Stone Bench Films, Invenio Origin, and Five Stare Creations. The film's complete sound and soundtrack was composed by Santhosh Narayanan. S Thirunavukkarasu directed the film, while Shafique Mohamed Ali edited it.
