S. Shankar's 1996 vigilante action film ‘Indian’, in which Kamal Haasan played two roles, was a huge hit. In addition, the film was India's official submission for the Academy Awards in 1997. 21 years later, the director announced a sequel to the film, which began production two years later.
The sequel, dubbed ‘Indian 2’, has been one of the most anticipated films since its announcement. The film has been in the works for over four years, including the two pandemic-affected years. However, the film's creators have finally issued an update, which is guaranteed to delight cinephiles throughout the country. Lyca Productions, the official Production House, shared a video of Kamal Haasan at the dubbing studio on social media.
