Chiyaan Vikram is without a doubt one of the country's most brilliant and diverse performers. The ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ actor surprised his fans when he revealed on social media that there will be an update on his next project, tentatively titled’ Chiyaan62’, on October 28th.
Despite a short delay owing to technical difficulties, the actor delivered as promised and announced it via his social media profile. Vikram mentioned that his next movie will be with filmmaker SU Arun Kumar, who was recently successful with his film ‘Chithha’, which had Siddharth in the major role. It was also stated that Riya Shibu will finance the film through HR Pictures, and that GV Prakash Kumar would compose the soundtrack.
The announcement video depicted a police station during a holiday season in a hamlet, and how a fight breaks out at the police station between Vikram and others over something as little as the others tearing Vikram's footwear. The brutal and raw video also contributed to the Anniyan actor's sense of surprise. It was also stated that filming for the film will begin soon.

Chiyaan Vikram's next appearance will be in Gautham Vasudev Menon's highly anticipated film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. Vinayakan, Simran, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Ritu Varma, Arjun Das, GVM, and more actors star in the film. The film's trailer was released on Vijaya Dashami, October 24th, and has received excellent feedback from both fans and reviewers. Ondraga Entertainment co-finances the film alongside Oruoorleoru Film House, while Harris Jayaraj composes the soundtrack. The film will be released on November 24th.

Pa. Ranjith's forthcoming film ‘Thangalaan’ will also include the ‘Mahaan’ actor. Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, and others appear in the film. The film is described as a historical action drama set in the Kolar Gold Fields that portrays the narrative of a land battle between indigenous people and foreign troops. The teaser for the film is slated to be released on November 1st, with the film hitting theatres on January 26th of next year.
