Suriya43: The Much-Anticipated Collaboration Between Suriya And Sudha Kongara Is Ready To Go On Floors On ‘THIS’ Month!

Suriya is one of the most sought-after performers in the country, and hence one of the busiest. It was rumoured earlier this year that the National Award-winning actor will reunite with ‘Soorarai Pottru’ director Sudha Kongara for an upcoming film tentatively named ‘Suriya43’.

The announcement of their return sparked a lot of excitement among fans, especially since their previous project was the hugely popular 2020 film ‘Soorarai Pottru.’ According to the most recent news, Sun News, the film is expected to begin production in December.

Sudha Kongara's seventh film as a director and her second collaboration with Suriya is ‘Suriya43’. The film is produced by Jyothika and the actor from ‘7 am Arivu’ under the label 2D Entertainment. GV Prakash Kumar, who also worked on ‘Soorarai Pottru’, created the film's soundtrack. In reality, ‘Suriya43’ is GV Prakash's 100th film as a soundtrack composer.

The film's producers turned to social media to disclose that notable actors Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma will also appear in the film. Suriya was also recently rumoured to be playing the character of a college student in the film. ‘Suriya43’ will be more challenging to make than ‘Soorarai Pottru’, according to director Sudha Kongara, because it is a unique plot.

What’s Next for Suriya?

Suriya is now wrapping up production on his forthcoming historical action movie ‘Kanguva’, directed by Siva. The cast of the film includes Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and many others. The film is claimed to star Suriya in numerous roles and is produced by Studio Green in collaboration with UV Creations.

Suriya is also said to be repeating his role as Rolex from Kamal Haasan's 2022 film, ‘Vikram’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. According to reports, the film will be a stand-alone movie concerning the character's history. However, formal confirmation of this film is still pending.
