On September 28, 2023, audiences will be entertained by Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence. The film was meant to be released a few days earlier but was postponed. P Vasu, speaking at the occasion in Hyderabad, explained the very alarming explanation for this. The entire 'Chandramukhi 2' team was present.

According to P Vasu, 450 shots from the film went missing. Everyone appeared to be at their wits' end. Around 150 technicians worked for days to recover the photos and were eventually successful. They then started working on the final edit and post-production. This is why the picture could not be released sooner.
