Captain Miller: G V Prakash Kumar Shares BTS Of Dhanush Recording The First Song Of The Film!

‘Captain Miller’, Dhanush's forthcoming film, is one of the most anticipated films in the coming months. It was recently announced that the film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, will be released in theatres around Pongal/Sankranti 2024.

In the most recent update, the film's music director, GV Prakash, took to social media to share a photo with the lead actor and the director, which looks to be from the recording studio. He also released what appeared to be the words of the upcoming song, as well as the fact that the song was sung by Dhanush himself.

About ‘Captain Miller’:

Apart from the ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ actor,’ Captain Miller’ boasts an ensemble cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan, and many more. It was also stated that Dhanush would portray the titular character, commonly known as Eesa or Analeesan. His character, according to accounts, is the commander of a rebel organisation.

‘Captain Miller’ is said to be based on the real-life LTTE rebel of the same name. However, the director has refuted any such rumours, claiming that the picture is entirely unique and not based on any source. It has also been reported that the movie will be released in three parts.

‘Captain Miller’ was directed by Siddharth Nuni, renowned for films such as ‘Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu’, produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the brand of Sathya Jyothi Films. Nagooran Ramachandran was in charge of the film's editing.

What’s Next for Dhanush and G V Prakash Kumar?

Dhanush will be featured in his 50th film, provisionally named D50, following Captain Miller. This is also his second directorial effort, following Pa. Pandi in 2017. The film is said to include an ensemble cast that includes Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Aparna Balamurali, among others.

GV Prakash, on the other hand, is working on a variety of initiatives. In terms of music, his most recent effort, ‘Japan’, which stars Karthi in the lead role, was just launched. He is also creating music for the Hindi adaptation of ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which stars Akshay Kumar.

He will also be seen in the forthcoming flick ‘Rebel’. The film is directed by newcomer Nikesh RS and is said to be about university politics. Simbu has shared the teaser for the flick.
