Just when you thought a prominent film banner like Yash Raj Films is slowing down with a few flops, the production house gave us a glimpse of what they have in stores for us. Just right after announcing their upcoming film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, now Yash Raj recently announced the second film titled, Sui Dhaaga , starring Anushka Sharma and the first time in a Yash Raj film, Varun Dhawan . Sui Dhaaga also marks re-collab of Yash Raj with director Sharat Kataria and producer Maneesh Sharma who delivered 2015’ surprise hit, Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Speaking about the film, both lead actors are super excited to work with each other and pumped about the kind of story this film has. As per the initial info released, the film will be an inspirational drama, which will praise entrepreneurship and motto is to promote Make In India, the characters will be weaved around. Their fandom also has reasons to celebrate this pairing as they both have casual chemistry off screen too!

Even the makers’ duo Sharat Kataria and Maneesh Sharma were also seemed eager to work again with his old team and new members. Both were peculiar about coming up with the only worthwhile project and not to just cash in the success of Dum Laga Ke Haisha! As for this film, the first shooting schedule will start in January 2018 and will release on 2nd October 2018, on Gandhi Jayanti!
