Darsheel's happy to be a part of 'Midnight's Children'.

Our deary Ishan from \'Taare Zameen Par\', actor Darsheel Safary who is playing a key role in Deepa Mehta\'s much awaited film \'Midnight\'s Children\' is very happy to be a pivotal part of this film. In a recent interview the teenager was expressing his views about being a part of such big film. Darsheel said that ,\"I am very happy to be a part of it. I am playing the childhood role of Saleem Sinai in this movie. I feel very lucky to get a chance to work in such a big film with such a big star cast. \" The sixteen year old says that he has come a long way since his film \'Taare Zameen Par\'. Darsheel was present at the premiere show of Midnight\'s Children. He further expressed that, \"It suddenly came from nowhere and I could not believe that I am a part of it.I am very glad that Deepa Mehta offered me the role. But at the same time I am feeling nervous too. \" The shining star of tomorrow admits that he hardly knows about the details of the script and that is why he is very curious and excited to watch the film.

Midnight\'s Children is an adaptation of famous author Salman Rushdie\'s novel \'Midnight\'s Children\' which is directed by veteran director Deepa Mehta and has a star cast like Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Rajat Kapoor, Satya Bhama, Seema Biswas, Ronit Roy, Shahana Goswami, Anita Majumdar, Siddharth, Soha Ali Khan, Shriya Saran, kulbhushan Kharbanda and Darsheel Safary.

\'\"I used to help Deepa Mehta on the sets like her assistant. I used to help her in setting up things and whatever help she wanted she used to get from me. Even she has helped me in my studies during the shoot. She is very supportive,\" concludes the smart teenager and signs off.
