Admit it! We all have crush on one popular figure or the other. Television actor Abhishek Sharma, who is currently seen as Babbu Singh in the Star Bharat show Nimki Mukhiya, also has a celebrity crush he can talk about incessantly. The talented actor finds Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone irresistible. “I love Deepika Padukone. She is simply irresistible. Some time ago, I happened to see an Axis Bank hoarding featuring her. I literally stopped on the road and gazed at it for a minute or two before my friends came and took me away. I just love her. I never miss her films. I follow her on Twitter. I follow her on Instagram. I never miss any of her updates,” he says.

Talking about his favorite Bollywood star, he says, “From the current crop of actors, I like Ranveer Singh, but Aamir Khan is my all-time favorite. No one has seen a perfectionist like him. I never miss his films. I have seen his films like Rang De Basanti , Taare Zameen Par , PK and Dangal many times. His performance in all these films is outstanding. There is no other actor like him.”

Every actor wants to act in films one day. When we asked Abhishek about his favorite director that he would like to work in future, he says, “I would love to work with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj . These are two filmmakers whose work inspires me a lot. I like Anurag Kashyap also, but his style of filmmaking is very different from rest of the filmmakers in the industry. So, I feel, initially, it might be a little difficult for me to get used to it.”

Though Abhishek is in no hurry to foray into films as he wants to concentrate on his show, for the time being, we hope his favorite filmmakers listen to his wish soon!
