Blessed with great acting talent and drool-worthy looks, popular television actor Barun Sobti has joined the cast of Ekta Kapoor ’s forthcoming web-series for ALTBalaji. Titled The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family, the series also features immensely talented actor Kay Kay Menon in a pivotal role. Barun would be seen playing his younger brother Samar in the show. The actor, who has done a web-series before, feels that his character in the forthcoming series is going to be a challenging one. "It's a kind of script that requires the actors to perform really well. I am looking forward to the challenge," he said while talking to a popular entertainment portal.

Talking about powerful performer Kay Kay Menon , he plays the role of Vikram in the show. The actor is making his digital debut with The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family. "The story and screenplay of the show is extremely well done. The makers have achieved a difficult task of exploring the relationships of a dysfunctional family without it being 'in your face' and 'abrasively filmy,” the actor said.
