After starting the shooting for Sanjay Dutt ’s biopic in 2016, Rajkumar Hirani and team have finally wrapped up the film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor , the film took one of the longest times of his career to get completed. Hirani, who made some massive changes in the physical appearance of Ranbir to get the aura of Sanjay Dutt , has now finally wrapped the film. Hirani and the whole crew (team) shared a video stating the film has now come to an end. Though the title of the film is yet not finalized, the release date of the same is finally here and it will hit the theatres on 29th June 2018.

Earlier, Hirani’s film was supposed to release in 2017 itself, but then it got postponed to 30th March 2018 and then 29th June was declared as the official release date. But now since Hirani and team have decided 29th June 2018 as their final release date, Dutt’s biopic will be clashing with Shaad Ali ’s ‘ Soorma ’, which has Diljit Dosanjh , Angad Bedi and Taapsee Pannu in the lead.

Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt , Manisha Koirala as Nargis , Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt and Sonam Kapoor as Tina Munim . Actors like Karishma Tanna , Anushka Sharma , Jim Sarbh , Vicky Kaushal , and Boman Irani also feature in the star cast.
