    Arya Babbar Biography

    The handsome young guy Aarya Babbar is none other than actor Raj Babbar's son, who is active in Bollywood as well as in the Punjabi film industry. Born on 24th May 1984, he is the son of actor Raj Babbar and Nadira Babbar, a popular theatre artiste. He is also the brother of actor Prateik Babbar and Juhi Babbar.

    He commenced his career in 2002 with 'Ab Ke Baras' by Raj Kanwar, starring opposite to Amrita Rao. However, though the film didn't fare well at the box office, he received the Most Promising Newcomer- Male award at the Star Screen Awards. He has also worked with Vikram Bhatt,Mani Ratnam and Madhur Bhandarkar.

    Throughout his ten year career he has acted in films such as 'Ab Ke Baras' (2002), 'Mudda - The Issue' (2003), 'Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum' (2004), 'Guru' (2007), 'Chamku' (2008), 'Tees Maar Khan' (2010), 'Ready' (2011), 'Azaan' (2011), 'Dangerous Ishq' (2012) , 'Joker' (2012) and 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' (2013). He has also worked in Punjabi films like 'Virsa' and 'Yaar Anmulle'.

    His upcoming films are 'Zindagi 50-50' and 'Afra Tafree'.
