    Akira remains steady on first Wednesday at the box-office

    Check out the domestic box-office collection of Sonakshi Sinha starrer movie Akira.

    A. R. Murugadoss’s directorial Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha has remained steady at the box-office on its first Wednesday. The action drama made Rs. 16.65 crores during its first weekend at the box-office. The film raked in Rs. 3.40 crores on Monday, Rs. 2.40 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 2.07 crores on Wednesday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 24.52 crores at the domestic front.

    The film also stars filmmaker turned actor Anurag Kashyap as the baddie. Akira is a tale of a girl who is dragged wrongly in a scandal by the corrupt Police, she fights them back all alone to prove her innocence.
