The trailer for Vicky Kaushal's new film, 'The Great Indian Family,' is an entertainment riot. Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Manushi Chhillar, Ashutosh Ujjwal, and Bharti Perwani all play important roles in the film directed by Krishna Acharya.

Vicky Kaushal is celebrating the release of his new film, 'The Great Indian Family.' The actor is introduced in the teaser as Bhajan Kumar, the self-proclaimed uncontested King of Balrampur. He performs at jagratas, weddings, and other family gatherings. The video then hints at the story's plot, which centres around Bhajan Kumar's family discovering the truth about him. Kumar is revealed to be a Muslim, not a Hindu. In addition to Vicky, Chhillar appears in the film as his love interest.

The film is set in India's heartland and revolves around the lunacy that erupts within Vicky's family. Vicky says of the film, "TGIF is a simple, small-town story that will touch your hearts." It is a story about the unshakable tie that family members share with one another, set in India's heartland. It demonstrates how situations may put that relationship to the test and how powerful that emotional chord is between every member of an Indian family."

He adds, “Our joint families are truly unique because of the personalities they inhabit. They can be a huge strength when the going gets tough and they can also be quite dysfunctional at the same time. TGIF is a celebration of this very spirit of all our families. I hope everyone connects to this emotion and gives us a lot of love on September 22nd.”
