Interestingly, the couple's wedding video holds a special connection with Deepika's movie, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. The connection stems from Vishal Punjabi, the director behind capturing DeepVeer's wedding video, who had previously directed Deepika during the filming of the song 'Kabira' for the movie 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.'
Recalling a tender moment by the poolside during the shoot, Deepika had expressed her desire for Vishal to capture her wedding video when the time came. This heartfelt sentiment stayed with her, culminating in the realization of her wish during her wedding. Vishal emphasized that their wedding film wasn't just a documentation of the day but a narrative woven with love, trust, and commitment.
On the 'Koffee With Karan' Season 8 episode, Karan Johar, upon watching the wedding video for the first time, was visibly moved, leading him to embrace the couple tightly. He expressed happiness for their union but also revealed a tinge of loneliness he felt simultaneously.
