The long-awaited wedding video of power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has finally reached the masses nearly after five years of their dreamy wedding ceremony in Italy. The duo unveiled never-seen-before glimpses of their fairytale union on the popular talk show, Koffee With Karan, for the first episode of season 8.

Prior to the heartwarming reveal, Ranveer nostalgically recounted his Maldives proposal to Deepika, followed by their swift trip to Bengaluru to break the big news to her parents. Despite initial reservations from Deepika's mother, the charismatic Ranveer slowly won her over, eventually etching his place in the family's heart.

The enchanting footage captured Ranveer's endearing adoration for Deepika during their engagement festivities, while Prakash Padukone, Deepika's father, charmingly described Ranveer as the vivacious spark that ignited their otherwise 'boring' household of four.

Highlighting the wedding moments, the clip showcased Ranveer's spirited dance at the lakeside mehendi celebration, and Deepika's radiant grace as she adorned herself for the ceremony. The sacred vows exchanged at the mandap, their Anand Karaj ritual, and Ranveer's heartfelt pre-wedding confession of love all contributed to the enchanting narrative.

The emotional impact of the video was palpable as the show's host, Karan Johar, teared up while expressing his joy at witnessing the couple's profound love. Karan said, "You know, I am not in a relationship and I am kind of single. It just makes me feel like what I am losing out on not being in one. You feel like you don't have a partner of your own to share the nothings of your day with. And everyday I wake up and a little part of me feels that vacuum. I have my kids and mom but when I see this and I see you and I know relationships are tough but that soul connection with a person that you can wake up with, hold their hand and see your day through tough times. And I feel like I just..I don't think I had a moment like this on my own show..but I feel so happy for you, and I felt so alone yet. And I hope this manifests into like..I hope I have a story to tell."
