Bhediya 2 And Stree 2 Release Dates Out! Producer Dinesh Vijan Reveals Varun Dhwan - Kriti Sanon And Shraddha Kapoor - Rajkummar Rao's Film Details
That settles it! The sequels of the Varun Dhawan film Bhediya and the Shraddha Kapoor and RajKummar Rao film Stree are announced. During a massive event on Wednesday in Mumbai, Jio Studios unveiled their future lineup of films and web shows.
The studio also revealed plans to develop the Bhediya and Stree universes further. Varun and Shraddha showed up for the big party. Varun revealed the Bhediya 2 logo during the event and even made a wolf noise to show his enthusiasm.
Jyoti Deshpande, President of RIL Media and Content Business, remarked in reference to the next slate of films, "We are in the most exciting and eventful phase of Indian entertainment, with storytelling taking centre stage in an era of explosive digital disruption. Since its inception five years ago, Jio Studios has worked very hard to lay solid foundations in scaling what is traditionally a very fragmented industry. We have actively partnered with some of the best names in the business and newcomers alike to reach this day, when a staggering and exciting 100 content assets have been produced, ready to be showcased to the world."

Bhediya, starring Varun and Kriti Sanon, was released on November 25, 2022. Amar Kaushik directed the first creature comedy in Bollywood. Amar Kaushik also directed the film Stree. Released in 2018, the film is a horror-comedy. Stree will hit theatres on August 31, 2024, and Bhediya won't be released until the following year.
