Bheed’, the most recent film by Anubhav Sinha, opened to weak reviews on March 24. Fans' hopes and expectations weren't met by the movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. On its first day of release, the movie only brought in Rs. 15 lakh. The most recent publication follows a number of people as they experience the early phases of the Covid-19 pandemic-induced statewide lockdown in 2020.

The recent Hollywood picture ‘John Wick’, which is faring much better in comparison, has faced stiff competition from ‘Bheed’. Even last week's collections of ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ and ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway’ are performing better than ‘Bheed’.

Box Office Collection Day 2

In the social drama Bheed, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur, and Kritika Kamra all have significant roles. The movie, which had a weak debut on Day 1, continued to be uninteresting on Day 2. Early estimates indicate that the movie made 0.65 crore on its second day. Making 1.15 crore in total.

The black-and-white aesthetic, plodding pace, and sombre subject matter are what are keeping the general public away from ‘Bheed’. Sinha's second box office flop is ‘Bheed’. His previous movie, ‘Anek’, with Ayushmann Khurrana, too had a lacklustre box office reception. Anek, though, had a stronger opening figure than Bheed.

About ‘Bheed’

A tale of migrant labourers who were left stuck during a national lockdown, searching for their way home while lacking basic essentials. ‘Bheed’ not only revived the suffering and struggles caused by the COVID pandemic, but it also sparked controversy by equating the period with India's Partition. ‘Bheed’ is helmed by Anubhav Sinha.
