Ashutosh Rana turns 55: Some of the best films of the VILLAIN we love to watch!

It is quite easy to play a good boy and everyone’s hearts. But the most difficult part is to play a negative role or villain. When you play a negative role, you automatically create an eerie space in people’s minds. But to do it with utmost sincerity and passion so that people fall in love with you and make you their favorite is totally magical. If anyone has managed to make us fall in love with the bad guys, it's Ashutosh Rana. The seasoned actor has given each of his roles his absolute best effort. With Dushman, he made his Bollywood debut in 1998. His graph continued to rise after that. His antagonistic parts in Sangharsh, Awarapan, Baadal, Mulk, and Sonchiriya never seemed to be a rehash. Today the versatile actor turns 55 years old.

Dushman

Ashutosh Rana made his Bollywood debut with Dushman in 1998. Rana demonstrated right away that he wasn't simply another actor trying his luck. In the movie, he was a psychotic killer and rapist.

Sonchiriya

The film Sonchiriya, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Ashutosh Rana, didn't quite receive the praise and recognition it merited. Yes, the actor once more portrayed an inspector. His goal in the movie is to kill the rebels so that the government will give him an award. His performance was widely and critically acclaimed.

Dhadak

Ashutosh Rana's stellar performance in Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's debut project was the star of the show. 2018 saw the release of Dhadak, a film about honour killing.

Sangharsh

In the 1999 movie Sangharsh, Ashutosh Rana portrayed a transgender character. Many of us still have nightmares about his character. Ashutosh Rana gave a jaw-dropping performance while effortlessly donning a scarlet sari and a nose stud and delivering those heated lines.

Mulk

Santosh Anand, played by Ashutosh Rana in the movie Mulk, is one of our favorite characters. In this suspenseful courtroom drama, he portrayed the part of a public prosecutor.

His upcoming films

Ashutosh Rana is set to play a crucial role in Shah Rukh Khan’s most anticipated film Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand. The film will see Deepika Padukone as the female lead and John Abraham as the male antagonist. However, Ashutosh’s role is till unknow, the flick will hit the theatres on January 25th, 2023.
