Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty, who debuted opposite Tara Sutaria in Tadap (2021), is going places. Currently, the young actor is excited to be flying to Munich to see a football match and support his favourite team. A die-hard football fan, Ahan is super-thrilled for the trip during which he'll be accompanied by his sister Athiya.

While the siblings share a great rapport now, Ahan fondly remembers their bitter-sweet bond during childhood."We share a great rapport now. As kids, we used to fight a lot. But now we're really close to each other. In fact, she's the 'Go to' person for me in case i have something to share or need someone to speak to."

In Tadap, Ahan Shetty’s character left a lasting impression. As a young, angry action hero, he made an intense and impressive debut. Speaking about it, Ahan says, "The appreciation that I got for my first film was a dream come true. Going to Gaiety Galaxy and witnessing the reactions of the audiences was thrilling and surreal. I feel very grateful and blessed for all the love and support."

However, Ahan feels he is still a learner who has a long way to go.

"I can do a lot more better. As an actor, I'll never be perfect or call myself 10 out of 10 - as one always learns and grow with every film. Maybe after 6 or 7 films, I'll be able to say that I'm average but right now I have a long way to go."

Ahan further states that he is a much better and improved version of what he used to be and that his life experiences will help in betterment of his onscreen performance.

On his future plans, the 26-year-old actor says that it is all about not getting overwhelmed at this phase and keep going. "I think I have a lot to prove. So I'll keep working hard and go from strength to strength," he adds.

Emphasizing on his father's advice of being humble and grounded, Ahan says, "Even though we actors are privileged in many ways, we should not overvalue ourselves. For instance, I'm as important as the lightman on my film set. Hence, it is important to treat everyone equally and with respect as we are all working hard to survive. Humility and groundedness are qualities that every person should possess."

Oo the work front, while Ahan reveals that he has a four-film contract with Sajid Nadiadwala, he doesn't dwell further about his second film.

Meanwhile, rumour also has it that Ahan Shetty has been finalised to play the lead in Mahesh Bhatt's Aashiqui 3, the third installment in Aashiqui franchise. The film is expected to go on floors later this year.
