Kaushik's final rites took place in Mumbai's Versova crematorium. Numerous Bollywood celebs expressed their condolences for the late actor. Anupam Kher took to Instagram after the prayer meeting to write a heartbreaking parting tribute for his late friend.
With a heavy heart, he wrote, “Jaa!!! Tujhe maaf kiya! Mujhe Akela chod kar jane ke liye!! I will surely find you in people’s laughter! But will miss our friendship on a day-to-day basis!! Alvida mere dost! Tera favorite gaana lagaya hain background me! Tu bhi kya yaad karega!!”
Satish Kaushik's three-decade career included famous roles such as Calendar in Mr India, Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana, and Chanda Mama in Mr and Mrs Khiladi, among others.
