Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ and Sunny Deol's ‘Gadar 2’, both films made their way to theaters on the same monumental day, August 11. Injecting a touch of Bollywood flair, Akshay humorously christened the convergence of ‘OMG 2’ and ‘Gadar 2’ as ‘Oh My Gadar’. This playful amalgamation acknowledged the parallel presence of both films in theaters and demonstrated the star's lighthearted approach to the simultaneous releases. He acknowledged the audience's invaluable role in ensuring the triumphant run of both films, contributing to their seamless journey through the box office.

Complementing his message, Akshay shared a video mosaic that weaved together glowing reviews and triumphant box office figures for "OMG 2." This visual compilation was accompanied by the mellifluous tones of Akshay's rendition of "Udd Jaa Kale Kaava," a soulful romantic track from "Gadar 2." Interestingly, this very song is sung by Akshay's character in a scene alongside Pankaj Tripathi within the narrative of ‘OMG 2’.

‘Gadar 2’, following its remarkable Independence Day collection of ₹55 crore, experienced a slight dip in its earnings on Wednesday. Nevertheless, it reached and surpassed the coveted ₹250 crore milestone. As anticipation mounts, the film's trajectory is anticipated to scale the ₹300 crore summit in the near future.
