Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Om Raut's careers have suffered more from the movie ‘Adipurush’ than they have benefited from it. Despite having fantastic first two days of box office results, the movie started to decline on the first Monday. Despite a reduction in ticket costs, ‘Adipurush’ did not make any sort of comeback. The movie has a budget of about Rs 600 crores, which includes Prabhas' high salary. The producers insist that it is a profitable endeavour, but exhibitors and distributors are frequently incensed. For the cringe-worthy phrases, ‘Adipurush’ has come under fire, and writer-lyricist Manoj Muntashir has received death threats from some members of society.

On Reddit, a previous interview with Kriti Sanon is currently trending. She remarks during a conversation, "It comes with a lot of responsibility, but then I know I’m in amazing hands which is Om Raut, who is just a genius. I just absolutely love him as a director. I think he’s so technologically sound, and his vision is something very different – very, very different. Like what he’s making..."
According to Kriti Sanon, most of the footage was taken on a set with blue screens all around. The VFX was used to add the backdrop.
The actress is getting roasted online for these remarks. As is well known, ‘Adipurush’ received criticism for the subpar VFX. Someone made the statement that it is a significant red flag when an entire movie is shot in a studio.
Following the widespread outrage on social media, the dialogue in ‘Adipurush’ was revised. Om Raut really received backlash for kissing Kriti Sanon goodbye as she left the Tirupati Balaji Temple grounds. Manoj Muntashir's defence that ‘Adipurush’ was his interpretation of the ‘Ramayan’ sparked even more rage.
