The head priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple has given his backing to the much-anticipated film 'Adipurush', which stars Prabhas and was directed by Om Raut. In a surprising turn of events, the head priest praised the film for bringing attention back to the epic story of Ramayan and said that directors should be able to show their own interpretations.

Even though 'Adipurush' started out well at the box office around the world, it had a big fall. The movie, which had made more than 350 crores, couldn't keep up its success. People have said a lot of bad things about the movie, from bad visual effects to cringe-worthy conversation.
Many people thought it hurt Hindu feelings and beliefs. After people complained, the movie's creators had to change the language and lower ticket prices. But none of these things worked to get people back to the theatres. Even the original cast of Ramayan and experienced actor Mukesh Khanna spoke out against the 'Adipurush' team on social media.
The head priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple, on the other hand, has come forward to praise 'Adipurush.' He said that a group of priests from the temple had seen the movie and didn't find anything too bad about it. But they did make some ideas for how to make things better. The head priest admitted that there are different versions of the Ramayan in India and said that filmmakers should be able to take the story in their own way. He also said that people liked using 3D glasses to watch the movie.
This point of view is very different from what others have said. Manoj Muntashir, who worked on the movie and wrote the lyrics, said that 'Adipurush' was his version of the Ramayan. Both he and the director Om Raut got a lot of bad feedback. Famous stars from the original 'Ramayan' series, like Arun Govil, Sunil Lahri, and Dipika Chikhlia, all said that they didn't like the movie.
'Adipurush' was made by T-Series, and its head, Bhushan Kumar, has defended it by saying that it was not a failure. On its first day, the movie was able to make 35 crores in the Hindi area and 60 crores in South India. Given that Prabhas is a well-known actor, the movie could have been a huge hit if it had been better made.
Even though 'Adipurush' has gotten a lot of bad reviews and has been losing money at the box office, the head priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple has come out in support of it. Some people who worked on the original Ramayan series and other well-known people were disappointed with the movie, but the head priest thinks that filmmakers should be able to take the story however they want. Different people had different reactions to 'Adipurush,' which made a lot of money at first but got a lot of negative feedback for how it was made and how it portrayed the beloved Hindu epic.
