Netflix has released a teaser for ‘The Railway Men’, an upcoming web series inspired by actual incidents and set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas leak. ‘The Railway Men’ is a stirring story of bravery and a tribute to mankind. The less-than-one-and-a-half-minute teaser depicts a major disaster unfolding in a workplace and life rapidly unravelling around it. There are brief glimpses of lead actors R Madhavan, Babil Khan, Kay Kay Menon, and Divyenndu, who play critical roles in attempting to manage the crisis.

The teaser begins with shots of a gas leak at a large facility. People are seen racing around trying to save their lives while using garments that cover their noses and mouths for the little protection they can get from the poisonous gas. The tale is told through a voiceover, which states, "Is waqt Bhopal junction Dilli ke nakshe se gayab ho chuka hai (the Bhopal railway station has vanished from the central government's map)."

R Madhavan, the General Manager of Central Railways, arrives and orders station master Kay Kay Menon to do something. Divyenndu plays a police policeman who takes on the responsibility of doing what needs to be done and convinces them that they can trust him more than their uniform. A sight of Babil Khan, who appears to be the station's sole loco pilot, is also visible. He is overheard stating, "This is my city, and those who will die are my people." Several fleeting views of the victims fill out the teaser shortly after the major characters and narrative are introduced, establishing the tone for what's to come.
