Stranger Things is one of the most loved shows with fans of all ages. The horror sci-fi drama released its first season in the year 2016 and has come a long way since then. The first volume of the fourth season of the show was released last month and it has created a buzz with its last two episodes yet to be released. In a recent chat, the cast of the show reflected upon their journeys so far and said that they feel overwhelmed.
Sadie Sink who plays Max Mayfield on the show said, “All the characters have evolved and matured so much in these years. It’s sort of crazy to look back at the previous seasons and see how much we have grown as humans, as actors — and not just on the show but even with the interviews and with everything we’ve been through together. We are in such different places now [as individuals] and it’s just amazing to look at the people we have become. It’s kind of cool.”
Stranger Things, which also stars Priah Ferguson aka Erica Sinclair, discussed their character arcs and what viewers may expect to see in the upcoming volume of season 4. “I think Erica’s character is just full of surprises. In volume one of this season, she steps in as a leader and comes to the realization that she is a nerd, so you get to see her play around with that. I don’t want to say much but in volume two, you will get to see what more she has to offer. So far, she has contributed well to the team and she is very resourceful, so you are going to get to see more of her personality and who she is and all that great stuff,” said Erica who plays Lucas Sinclair’s sister on the show.
Sadie elaborates a little more on her ideas and reveals that she is particularly drawn to emotional material. The 20-year-old actress expressed, “My favorite stuff to film is of course when it’s doing the supernatural things and heavy scenes; that’s fun. But what I personally like to do is stuff that’s a little more grounded, where you get to play real with human emotions and all those things. And you are going to see a lot of that in season four.”
The fans of the show are pretty excited and are going crazy to know what the season finale episodes hold. The final two episodes of Stranger Things season 4 are set to stream on Netflix from July 1.
