Stardom: Aryan Khan’s Debut Directional All Set For The Final Leg Of Shooting In Mumbai!

The year 2023 was memorable not only for Bollywood, with several mega blockbuster films, but also for the Khans. ‘Pathaan’ marks the end of Shah Rukh Khan's five-year break following ‘Zero’. The film was a huge hit, and his most recent movie, ‘Jawan’, broke ‘Pathaan’ records as well. Fans couldn't get enough of SRK's action-packed performance and Atlee Kumar's directorial debut.

Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan, King Khan's children, are also taking their initial steps in carrying on their father's heritage. While Suhana will make her acting debut later this year in Zoya Akhtar's ‘The Archies’, Aryan Khan will make his directorial debut with ‘Stardom’. Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, chose directing over his father's league. The star kid is generating quite a buzz for his directorial debut, ‘Stardom’, by putting all of his energies on writing and directing. According to reports, the project, which began filming in July of this year, would have cameo appearances by Shah Rukh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol. The project, led by Lakshya Lalwani, will be a fictionalized portrayal of the Hindi cinema industry. According to a source, the series is nearing the end of its production.

“The team of Stardom is currently shooting for it in Alibaug. The final schedule of the show is slated to happen later this month and with that, Aryan will wrap up the project which he began conceptualizing more than a year back. The last leg of the show will be shoot in a multi-cultural centre in Mumbai’s Nariman Point and will feature an elaborate set that will be a replication of a star-studded award function,” the source shared with the portal.

Shah Rukh Khan also paid a visit to the sets on the first day of filming. According to a source, “A major portion of Stardom was filmed in Dharma Productions which was frequented by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan during the course of the shoot.”

According to the source, ‘Stardom’ would not only mark Aryan's directorial debut, but a star kid who is claimed to be very close to Khans will also be assisting him. The source praised Aryan's professionalism on set, saying, “Despite Stardom being his debut vehicle, Aryan has left everyone impressed with his commitment and passion. He is extremely clear about how he envisions his series to look and is a thorough professional who exactly knows what he expects from the cast members. Word about his competency has reached every nook and corner of the fraternity with many expressing their desire to work with him.”
