Sobhita Dhulipala wraps up filming Made in Heaven 2
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala on Monday announced that she has completed shooting for the second season of her much-loved streaming show Made in Heaven 2.
Bankrolled by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, the Amazon Prime Video show features the actress in the role of a high-profile wedding planner, Tara Khanna.
Sharing the news of her wrapping up filming season two, Dhulipala wrote on Instagram, “It’s a wrap for big cat boss trooper Tara Khanna on season 2 of Made in heaven! Can't wait to show you the fire that's been blazing quietly.”
Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has co-created the series with longtime collaborator Reema Kagti. The first season of Made in Heaven was co-directed by Nitya Mehra, Zoya Akhtar, Prashant Nair, Alankrita Shrivastava and received glowing reviews from critics.
The series focuses on two wedding planners, Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra, who are navigating the big fat and often complicated Indian weddings while balancing conflicts in their own personal life.
The first season turned out to be a huge success and hence, a lot of expectations are riding on season two of the series. Made in Heaven 2 is set to stream this year.
