Randeep Hooda, who was last seen in the 2021 film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai', is all set to feature in Netflix revenge drama titled 'CAT'. The OTT giant announced on Friday that the webseries will start streaming on December 09, 2022.
A gripping saga revolving around brotherhood and espionage, the release date of 'CAT' was announced by Netflix through a post on social media which read: “We’ve got some purrrrr-fect news! Watch Randeep Hooda as Gurnam in CAT - a gripping tale of brotherhood, espionage and more, releasing on 9th Dec only on Netflix".
Helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, 'CAT' follows the life of a man named Gurnam (played by Randeep) who gets framed into drug trafficking scandals, underbelly gang wars and political mess.
Set in the backdrop of rural Punjab, the series has been produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in collaboration with Jelly Bean Entertainment. 'CAT' has been co-directed by Rupinder Chahal and Anutej Singh.
Noteworthy, 'CAT' is the second collaboration of director Balwinder Singh Janjua with Randeep Hooda. They have also worked together for a social comedy flick titled 'Tera Kya Hoga Lovely', which has been renamed to 'Unfair and Lovely'.
The film deals about the notorious obsession of Indians with fair skin and also features Ileana D'Cruz and TV actor Karan Kundrra.
