Kajol is seen in the first look of the upcoming Indian adaptation ‘The Good Wife’
Not long ago it was reported that actor Kajol will headline the Indian Adaptation of the Hollywood series ‘The Good Wife’. Since the reports were out fans of the actor were eager to catch a glimpse. The makers have dropped a teaser for the show.
The teaser
The show is currently in the production phase. Actor Kajol will be seen as the lead. Looking at the teaser, Kajol is seen in a courtroom in a black robe. She walks in and says, “Shuru kare?”. This short teaser has fans extra excited. Kajol shared the teaser and wrote, “Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka - a fight of #TheGoodWife #HotstarSpecials #TheGoodWife, coming soon. #TheGoodWifeOnHotstar #DisneyPlusDay #FirstLook.”

About the Indian adaptation
The Indian version is helmed by Suparn Verma. The original show starred Julianna Margulies in the lead role and the series ran from 2009 to 2016. In a recent interview, Kajol said, “As a career first move, I will be playing a lawyer in my first ever series, directed by the fabulous Suparn Verma.”
