Take A Look at 5 Best Web Series to watch on Netflix Now:

1. One Piece (2023–Present)

Since 1997, the manga series ‘One Piece’ has chronicled the exploits of Monkey D. Luffy, a charming, superpowered teenage pirate captain who leads his elegantly dressed Straw Hat crew on a search for a fabled treasure. The comics have spawned movies, computer games, and a long-running anime series, which has recently been translated into a live-action series starring Inaki Godoy as Luffy. This ‘One Piece’ is colourful and action-packed, like a cartoon come to life. According to our reviewer, it "excels at capturing the spirit of the original." (The anime version of "One Piece" is also accessible on Netflix, with over 100 episodes.)

2. Sex Education (2019-2023)

Some of Netflix's finest original programmes are about adolescence, but they aren't intended for teenagers, or at least not for them to watch with their parents. Asa Butterfield and Emma Mackey star in the bawdy British dramedy "Sex Education," as unpopular teens who struggle with their own sex lives but discover they have vital insights into their classmates' hangups, which they distribute to their needy friends in paid therapy sessions. The show was praised by critics for being "timely but not ham-fistedly topical, feminist, and with a refreshing lack of angst about its subject."

3. Fall of the house of Usher (2023)

The writer-director Mike Flanagan returns to the literary horror of his Netflix favourites ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ and ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ with this eerie mini-series, which plays on many Edgar Allan Poe characters and stories. The programme, which is half social satire and part gothic melodrama, stars Bruce Greenwood as the head of a scandal-plagued, opiate-peddling dynasty, the rise and fall of which is depicted in flashbacks. Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Carla Gugino, Mary McDonnell, and Henry Thomas lead a superb ensemble that adds personality and humour to an otherwise bleak tale of greed and retribution.

4. Outlander (2014-Present)

‘Game of Thrones’ receives more attention, but ‘Outlander’ has been as effective in translating a large novel series and in blending political intrigue with high fantasy. The show is based on Diana Gabaldon's novels about a time-traveling 20th-century English doctor (Caitriona Balfe) and her romance with an 18th-century Scottish rebel (Sam Heughan), and it has large battles, wilderness adventure, and open sensuality. It also has a unique historical perspective, spanning centuries of shifting circumstances and factional battles in Europe and the Americas. It is expected to appeal to viewers who "love muskets, accents, and the occasional roll in the heather."

5. The Witcher (2019–Present)

This adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's books and short tales gives lots of rip-roaring pulp action. Geralt, played by Henry Cavill, is a talented monster hunter who travels the nation doing his craft while meeting aristocracy and peasants. The focus of "The Witcher" is mostly on dramatic sword-and-sorcery combat, with the amusingly jaded Geralt at its centre, but there is intricacy to the storytelling in "The Witcher," owing to the hero's rich backstory and a storyline that weaves together several histories. Critics praised Cavill, saying he "brings a convincing physical presence as well as some wry humanity and emotional depth."
