Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, renowned Pakistani stars, are set to reunite for Netflix's inaugural Pakistan-themed original series, titled ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.’ The series is an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq's eponymous Urdu novel. Variations of the romantic novel have previously brought Fawad and Mahira together in projects like the telenovela ‘Humsafar’ in 2011 and the blockbuster film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ last year, marking their collaboration once again.

As reported by Variety, the narrative of ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’ revolves around Sikandar and Liza, whose paths intersect in Italy. Sikandar, a Harvard law student, undergoes a life-altering experience, while Liza, an accomplished artist, carries a complex history. The series also marks Fawad's reunion with his former co-star from the 2007 show ‘Barzakh’, Sanam Saeed.

The ensemble cast is an impressive array of Pakistani talents, including Ahad Raza Mir (‘Resident Evil’, ‘World on Fire Season 2’), Hamza Ali Abbasi (‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’), Bilal Ashraf (‘Superstar’), Maya Ali (‘Parey Hut Love’), Iqra Aziz (‘Raqeeb Se’), Hania Aamir (‘Parde Mein Rehne Dom’), Khushaal Khan (‘Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri’), Nadia Jamil (‘Jo Bichar Gaye’), Omair Rana (‘Pinjra’), and Samina Ahmed (‘Ms. Marvel’).
