Citadel, an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers' American program slated for Prime Video, would star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actress is polishing her Hindi for the same with a dialect trainer. Regarding the period in which the story is set, there has recently been an interesting development.

Citadel India is reportedly also set in the 1990s, in two timelines: the early and late 1990s. By early November, the actors are expected to start their sessions for the Prime Video series. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon have a distinctive style created by the filmmakers. By the end of November or the beginning of December, the project is expected to start production after Varun wraps up Bhediya's promotions and Samantha completes her commitments.
