Actress Apeksha Porwal is now enjoying her international English-Arabic television series "Slave Market" fame. The actress is receiving a lot of accolades for her grittier-than-thou portrayal in the show. The online series reportedly ranks as the top Arab streaming programme on Shahid and is one of the most popular Indian programmes there.
The actress's acting abilities are already being praised. Princess Lavani was portrayed by former Miss India Apeksha. She expressed her excitement at the reviews of her worldwide series, “We are halfway through the series and have 5 episodes out so far and the response has already been overwhelming. The nine-episode series, which is produced by Middle Eastern media behemoth MBC Studios, was written by renowned Kuwaiti author Heba Mashari Hamada and is helmed by award-winning Tunisian director Lassaad Oueslati. It is set in the 1900s and centres on Apeksha Porwal, who plays an Indian princess who is captured and sold into slavery while also experiencing a tumultuous love affair.
A former Miss India and actress Apeksha Porwal, who most recently appeared in the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar film Badhai Do and in season 2 of Applause Entertainment's Undekhi, is now anticipating her upcoming shoot for Slave Market and her upcoming release in India, for which she has already shot and for which an announcement will be made soon.
