Trolls criticize Bharti Singh for returning to work 12 days after giving birth, the comedian gives a befitting reply
On April 3, Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa gave birth to their first child, a baby boy. Bharti returned to work as a Hunarbaaz Desh Ki Shaan host after a 12-day break. Bharti Singh claims she was criticized for returning to work only a few days after giving birth to her kid. In an interview with the media, she expressed her gratitude for the recognition she has gotten.
Bharti Singh has embraced parenthood while remaining committed to her career. She revealed that some people criticized her for leaving her son at home when she returned to shoot. She stated in an interview, “We have immense love and blessings from everyone. A lot of people are appreciating me that yes she’s strong, she’s back to work." But some are throwing negative comments as well, as Bharti recalled, “Arre baccha chodh ke aagayi, itni bhi kya jaldi thi (She left her infant at home, was it that important to resume work)."
Bharti replied strongly to the trolls, saying, “Hum koi upar se utri hui pariya nhi hai jo rest karengi, kyunki bahut sari working women hoti hai jo ek hafte ke baccho ko chod kar kaam par jaati hai. (We are no angels that we can rest forever. There are a lot of working women who leave their one-week-old kids at home to resume work).”
On Sunday, Bharti appeared in Hunarbaaz Desh Ki Shaan's grand finale episode. Following her maternity leave, she has returned to The Khatra Khatra Show.
