Shehzada Dhami onboards Kashibai Bajirao Ballal to play grown-up Bajirao

Actor Shehzada Dhami has signed on to star in the popular historical show Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. He will play the character of grown-up Bajirao on the show.

For the uninitiated, Kashibai Bajirao Ballal is gearing up for a time leap of seven years in the third week of March. While Dhami is onboard to play Bajirao, actress Riya Sharma has been roped in to play grown-up Kashibai. Sharma and Dhami will take over from actors Aarohi Patel and Venkatesh Pande after the leap.

Dhami, who is quite popular on social media, was last seen in Choti Sardarni. The actor, however, quit the show just five months after signing it as he was not too pleased with the way his character was shaping up.

Talking about the same, he had earlier told a publication, “Yes, I am quitting the show because I am not happy with my character and track. It did not shape up the way I was promised. I was under the impression that the grown-up Param will have a similar graph as the younger one, who was an important character in the storyline. But there was no scope for me to explore as an actor. Of course, I was disappointed that it fell short of my expectations.”
