Shehnaaz Gill was heavily affected by Siddharth Shukla's demise, who died due to cardiac arrest at 40. Both were known to each other from their Bigg Boss 13 house co-journey. After the death of actor Siddharth Shukla, she stopped attending social gatherings and preferred staying indoors. She gets out promoting her film, 'Honsla Rakh', alongside Diljit Dosanjh. After a few instants, she admitted that she deliberately did not show her emotion In public because it does get everyone's label as a 'Sympathy Card'.

Shehnaaz gill opens up about dealing with the demise of Siddharth Shukla:-

Recently, in one interview, she admitted that she purposely kept her emotions to herself and chose not to express them publicly when she talked about the pain and grief of his demise. She says, "Duniya ke aage roge to log bolenge sympathy gain kar rahi hai (People would say I am trying to gain sympathy if I would cry in front of the world). People would consider you weak, and I never want to come across as one. However, I have never tried to hide my emotions. I dealt with it myself, and I am fine with it absolutely."
