Television actress Shama Sikander, best known for her roles in shows Balveer and Ye Meri Life Hai tied the knot with her long time sweetheart James Milliron. The couple's nuptial vows were exchanged in Goa on March 14, 2022, in a destination wedding. The ceremony was small and personal, with only the couple's respective families and close friends in attendance.

Shama, on the other hand, swept social media by storm when she uploaded breathtaking photos of herself and James from their fairytale wedding. In her wedding pictures, the actress looked gorgeous in a white sheer wedding gown and a transparent veil. She kept her makeup subtle with soft base, brown eyeshadow, filled-in brows, contoured face and peach lipstick and opted for a stylish messy hairdo. A pair of dainty earrings completed her look. James, on the other hand, looked suave in an all-white suit. His bearded jawline and long hair made him look admirable.

Shama stated in an interview with the Times of India last month that she and James had waited two years for the wedding they desired. She said, "We will have a white wedding and it will be a two-day affair. We are keeping it more international because many of our relatives are settled abroad. It will be ‘India meets America’. I love seeing people at white weddings, but I had never thought of how I wanted mine to be."

Shama and James began dating in 2015 after meeting through a common acquaintance in Mumbai. The duo was expected to marry in September 2020, according to reports. They had to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
