The Bekaboo actor likes to keep a balanced use of social media, and majorly only feels the need to check his profiles to see what his fans and wellwishers have to say about his work.
Shalin shares," "For me, social media is all about knowing my instagram family and knowing what they think about me. So for me, I go to social media when I want to know about a particular scene or an episode and how it has fared. I go onto social media to see what my fans have to say about it."
Shalin further added "Shalin Ki Sena is like my virtual extended family and I value their opinions and feedback. It's incredible how connected we can all be through social media platforms, specially with so many people who are supporting your work every single day. I make sure to engage with my fans by responding to their comments, and messages, and even joining live chats whenever possible. So it's only about that and it always gets overwhelming, which is absolutely fine because that's a part and parcel of the social media world."
We also asked the actor how he navigates the balance between sharing personal updates and maintaining privacy on social media. He says, "Sometimes things do go overboard, and at times I go completely aloof, which is all fine because that is part and parcel of being a public figure. It's a constant juggling act, but I like to maintain that my life is an open book and I like it that way," concludes Shalin.
