Sara Ali Khan to appear on Anupamaa to promote her film Atrangi Re

Actress Sara Ali Khan is all set to appear on Star Plus’ leading show Anupama to promote her forthcoming film Atrangi Re. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Atrangi Re also features superstar Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in lead roles.

The practice of actors appearing on successful shows to promote their upcoming films has been there for years now. Continuing the trend, Sara Ali Khan will appear on Anupama to promote the much-awaited romantic drama. According to reports, the makers have incorporated an exciting scene featuring Khan and Rupali Ganguly wherein they might share some intellectual conversations.

If we keep this promotional gig aside, Sara Ali Khan and Rupali Ganguly have a common connection. Khan’s first solo dance number “Chaka Chak,” which has been trending ever since its release, has been choreographed by Ganguly’s real brother Vijay Ganguly. The Anupama star has been religiously promoting the song on social media.

Produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi, Anupama is the numero uno show on Indian television currently. In addition to Rupali Ganguly, it also features several talented actors on its cast, including Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Nidhi Shah, among others.

Atrangi Re, bankrolled by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films, is set to premiere on December 24 on Disney+ Hotstar.
