Sashikant Lokhande, the father of actor Ankita Lokhande, passed away on Saturday. The star attended the funeral on Sunday along with her mother and other family members. Along with her husband Vicky Jain, Ankita also stepped forward to lend a shoulder to her father's bier.

Ankita can be seen in a video carrying her father's bier while they walk. She was seen sobbing while going with the bier on her shoulder. She was wearing a kurta salwar. Vicky Jain joined her and let her take the initiative for a little while.

The sources state that Ankita's father passed away on Saturday at 11:45 am. Ankita just got back from Vicky's vacation. At the funeral, his mother and other family members were also visible. In addition to paying their respects to Ankita's father, actors Arti Singh, Shraddha Arya, Omkar Kapoor, Rajesh Khattar, and Kushal Tandon all sent their sympathies to the family.
