Actor Rhea Chakraborty recently reflected on her past experiences and difficult times during an episode of 'MTV Roadies Season 19 - Karm ya Kaand.' She made her television comeback with the series, playing one of the gang bosses. Rhea expressed sympathy for Shuly Nadar, a competitor who spoke against colorism, during the event. Rhea began to talk about how she had to deal with a trying moment in her life at this point.
Rhea claimed throughout the programme that numerous people had spoken to her. She claimed she would reject those labels, though, because she can not constantly concerned about what people could be saying about her.
People will say a lot of things, she noted, but she won't let them control how she lives, "A lot of people will say a lot of things. I have been labelled with many names, and many things have been said about me. But will I accept those labels? Kya main unke wajah se apne life mein rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi… Let them go. Kaun hai woh (Why should I stop living my life because of others? Not at all. Who are they) ?"
Roadies 19 participant is inspired by Rhea. An athlete candidate spoke about her violent relationship and the discrimination she experienced because to her skin tone. The gang bosses, including Rhea, were in tears after hearing her tale. She was inspired by Rhea's words, “Nothing is wrong with your colour, you are absolutely beautiful and strong. You deserve the best in life and jo bhi aapke sath hua, woh aapki galti nahi hai, unki galti hai (Whatever bad has happened to you is because of them).”
Rhea Chakraborty, who last appeared with Amitabh Bachchan in the suspense film Chehre in 2021, gained notoriety after her partner Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in 2020, days after she had left his home. After she was charged with aiding Sushant in his purported suicide, her life was completely flipped upside down.

Later, during the investigation into Sushant's death, she was detained in a drug-related case. She left Mumbai's Byculla jail after serving 28 days in judicial custody for allegedly providing drugs to Sushant.
