Namish Taneja, who is currently seen in Sunshine Productions' ‘Maitree’ is all set to bid the show goodbye. In the upcoming episodes, his character will die in an accident, this will mark his exit from the show.

When we got in touch with Namish, he confirmed the buzz. "Yes, my track is going to end, and I have already shot the death sequence today (18th June)," says Namish.

When we quizzed the actor on his reason for exit, he just said that it was a mutual decision to part ways. He said, "I was not creatively satisfied as an actor, that's why I discussed my concerns with the production house. After our discussion, they tried to make changes to the storyline, but then we mutually decided to part ways. It's a little heartbreaking that my character is going to die, but I am very happy with the way my track ended. It's a heroic exit, which is shot in an amazing way."

He further added, "Maitree is a beautiful show and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it. My co-actors are extremely loving and sweet, and the production team is quite understanding. I am going to miss them all."
