A lot of television shows these days are finding it difficult to attract the attention of the audience. Ever since the reach and popularity of streaming content grew in India, a large chunk of the audience has moved to OTT platforms, resulting in decreased viewership for television shows. General entertainment channels are busy axing shows left, right, and center and the latest show that is being discontinued is Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar.
Yes, you read that right! Star Plus’ Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar is set to bid adieu to the audience. Actor Krish Pathak, who plays the parallel lead on the show, is shocked to know that the channel has decided to pull the plug on the show.
Calling his time on the show a good experience, Pathak says, "What starts has to end one day and the journey of Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar is also ending. This show holds a special place in my heart as the character I played on-screen was just me. It was hard for me to digest the fact that the show is going off-air soon. But that's part of life. I will surely miss essaying the role and having fun with my team on a daily basis.”
The actor thanks everyone who loved his performance on the show. "I am thankful to the people who appreciated my performance and showered immense love on me. I am also grateful to my co-stars who made this journey memorable. I will cherish all these moments in my life. From the people in front of the camera, behind the camera, and viewers, I want to express my heartiest gratitude,” he concludes.
